Charlie “The Fight monkey” Joseph

Charlie “The Fight Monkey” Joseph stepped into the cage as a professional MMA fighter in 2006, where he sharpened his skills in grappling, striking, and fight IQ. Known for his grit and relentless determination, he built a career on discipline and resilience. When his time as a pro fighter came to a close, Charlie refused to walk away from the sport he loved. Instead, he channeled his passion into building something greater for the next generation.

In 2013, he founded Woodside Boxing Academy, a place where fighters of all ages could learn not only the physical skills of combat sports but also the values of hard work, confidence, and perseverance. From young children taking their first steps into the ring to adults chasing their fighting dreams, Charlie has coached with patience, intensity, and vision.

As a registered USA Boxing Metro coach, he has guided many amateur prospects, instilling in them the same drive that fueled his own career. To his students, he is more than a trainer. He is a mentor who believes that the fight is never just about winning rounds but about building character, overcoming challenges, and finding strength within.

Charlie Joseph’s legacy continues to grow through the athletes he shapes, the community he builds, and the fighting spirit he inspires in everyone who walks through the doors of Woodside Boxing Academy.
